He was president for twelve years. He was born January 30,1882. He was born in Hyde Park, New York. He went to school at Groten School, and Harvard University Law School. His parents were very strict with him. His parents took him to Europe every year. Later he met his wife Eleanor and they had 6 kids. There names were Anna, James ,Franklin Jr ,Elliot ,Franklin Jr. Before he was President he was Secretary of the Navy. He ran for Vice presedent. He was elected Governor of New York. He was elected President. He stopped a bank crisis. He started a relief program that made streets, roads, bridges,and school houses. He started a Good Neighbor policy. He died while he was President. His last words were, " I have a terrible headache." He died of a hemorage. He died on April 12, 1945. Franklin D. Rossevelt was the only President that had 4 terms. He married his 6th cousin. He lead in the worst war. He was known for two things, his glasses he wore, clipped to his nose and the cigarette holder went to the side.
